Please AVOID the following for 1 week prior to your appointment: Omega Oils, St John’s Wart, Ginko Biloba, Vitamin E and Vitamin B6

In order to make your treatment as comfortable as possible, please do the following before arriving for your appointment:

Get EMLA (topical anaesthetic cream) from the chemist and apply a thick layer of the cream (must look white) at least 1-2 hours before, place a small piece of cling film or get a medical sticker from the chemist, cover over each eyebrow and do not remove. We will remove it when you get here. Plasters do not work as they do not seal the area completely. When you remove the film, the EMLA dry out and will stop working. We are also able to apply a topical anaesthetic to the area for about 20 mins before we start working should you not be able to apply beforehand, however this does cut the time down a bit. Applying the EMLA yourself before you come in, is just an extra precaution that is highly recommended.

Pre Procedural Advice

  • Permanent makeup procedures usually require 2 treatment sessions
  • Clients are advised to book their touch up session for between 4-6 weeks after the initial treatment
  • Please avoid Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or IBUprofen for two days prior to your procedure.
  • Please limit alcohol intake the night before your appointment
  • Please note there will be some swelling and redness following your treatment for up to 48hrs
  • Lash Line Enhancement – Please do not wear any kind of eyelash extensions
  • Lash Line Enhancement – Please do not wear contact lenses during or immediately after treatment
  • Lash Line Enhancement – Lash tinting must be carried out no sooner than 1 week prior to treatment

Healing Period

2-5 days after any permanent makeup procedure, the treatment area may reveal the following symptoms:

– Redness
– Swelling
– Tenderness
– Dryness
– Eyelashes sticking together (Lash Line Enhancement)

Please be prepared for the colour intensity to be significantly darker and sharper immediately after the treatment. The colour will fade gradually as the skin heals, it’s normal to experience some pigment loss, this is why we have the touch up in place. The process is considered to be incomplete until the touch up has been done. You might require more than one touch up, based on how well your skin accepts the pigment.

Post Procedural Instructions
